Brings back some lovely memories of our back to back cruises around Australia in 2010.

I am delighted that Splendour will soon be Thomson Discovery. She is a lovely ship and as we prefer the Thomson product to Royal Caribbean, will be happy to sail on her again. :)

I don't know why, but I thought TUI/Thomson were taking on Splendour quite soon. A quick Google has told me that Splendour has another year of service with Royal Caribbean before being transferred.

I think her new life with Thomson could finally encourage me to give the line a go. She's hardly a modern ship now, but still more modern than the rest of the Thomson fleet!

I also appreciate the photos.

We're fans of Thomson and I'm sure we'll be booking a cruise on Discovery before too long. (Hopefully a Thomson balcony cabin will be cheaper than they are at present.) :D

Booked cruise 2019: December - Caribbean on Marella Explorer 2
Remaining land-based holidays 2019: July - Peak District, August - Harris and Highlands, October - Brecon Beacons
