not going to get a cruise this year but

We are not going to get on a cruise this year as can't leave dad too long but me and Johnathan are going to Birmingham in August to visit the worlds biggest Primark (stop laughing) then we are going on the WB studio tour the making of Harry Potter. In case you didn't all know I am Harry Potter daft and it was on my bucket list of things to do so i thought why not

Nothing wrong with a short break especially when you have things planned. I'm a big fan of booking.com for accommodation in UK. Actually was looking last night for a couple of nights away in Somerset.

Why not, indeed, Sparkie - if it's something that appeals to you, go for it! :D

Sounds like a very good idea Donna. I'm sure the break will do you both good and definitely something to look forward to. :)

Good to have short breaks in the U.K. especially when it ticks things you want to do/see! Enjoy.

We are going on a cruise later in the year but, in the meantime, are taking our minicruise with family on a canal boat in August. Granddaughter claimed her position as Captain but I have appointed myself Admiral with authority but no work.

Sounds like a very good plan to me. Happy boating with not too many locks.
