Boudicca - Cape Town to Seychelles Oct. 2019

Postby Gillzajoker » 26 May 2019 11:10

I booked this cruise a while ago but didn't post then as Geoff was doing his review
of the ship and cruise around that time, and I didn't want to 'steal his thunder'!

The package includes flights (Emirates) and pre- and post-cruise hotels. Fly out
to Cape Town and have a night in a hotel (Onomo Inn on the Square - apparently
very central)) before boarding Boudicca on 31st Oct. and overnighting there.
Ports to visit are Port Elizabeth, Richard's Bay, Mayotte in the Comoros Is., Nosey
Be in Madagascar, and finally overnighting in Seychelles. After disembarking, we
then have a 2-nt. stay in Le Relax Hotel on Mahe Is. before flying back on 17th Nov.

That looks a good itinerary and land arrangements too. Look forward to hearing more.

You would not have stolen my thunder Gill

I am very much looking forward to reading your review of your October "Boudicca" cruise (one of our favourite ships). We are looking at a cruise on an MSC ship that also does an overnight in the Seychelles, so your thoughts on this particular port will be of great interest to us.
Geoff

Booked cruise :-
"Marella Dream" - Turkey, Greece and Israel 2019
"MSC Orchestra" - Cape Town to Venice 2020

Looks great Gill (I had a look on FO's website)! We did a safari excursion at Hluhluwe from Richard's Bay and it was one of our most memorable cruising experiences ever.

(BTW... did you get an enormous discount? I ask because the cruise costs a lot more than £2000! )
Dave

Booked cruise 2019: December - Caribbean on Marella Explorer 2
Remaining land-based holidays 2019: July - Peak District, August - Harris and Highlands, October - Brecon Beacons
