Update from Glynis - Today, 13th September 14.03 (Our time)

A quiet day spent here in Crete. It is warm; about 26c but very breezy.

Tomorrow we have an excursion in Katakolon where we will visit the home of the Olympic Games and a visit to a vineyard.

Another friend is on the same cruise. She sent me this photo of Azura at Katakolon yesterday.

Thank you Marie for your updates - much appreciated. It sounds like they didn't manage to organise anything for souda Bay - but I'm sure (by the sounds of it) that they enjoyed a bit of respite from stormy weather.

They have been relatively lucky - having seen footage on the BBC website of flash floods in southern spain that they didn't start their cruise a week later.

hopefully, their cruise back home will be smoother and they enjoy their final port of call - Gibraltar.

Just to say I checked the ship's position this morning and Azura is just clearing the Bay of Biscay, so a lovely peaceful run up the Channel today. The ship is due to arrive in Southampton at silly o'clock tomorrow morning.
