I know this info is a week late but just picked up this snippet up about MV Azores

Must have been worrying for the passengers, although peacefully resolved now.

It must be the best way to deal with a cruise company, or in this case, the firm which leases Azores to C&M.
It reminds me that we were stopped in Alesund, on Independence OTS, by the bailiffs last May. They must have been waiting for the first RCI ship of the season to show up. Once Miami had been contacted, the $60,000 owing was paid for the pilots, and we were free to leave. We didn't know anything about it, but had remarked at how unusual it was to be seen off by business men in suits and ties...
