Have you ever considered a Paddle Steamer cruise?

One company that offers such a cruise is http://www.americancruiselines.com/

There is a paddle steamer style river cruise you can take in Australia on the "Murray Princess" I have seen the vessel and it looked smart I was cruising the Murray river on a smaller version at the time "Proud Mary" and found this an excellent river cruise of about 5 days the latter no longer runs as far as I am aware.
