P & O Ventura Outside Cabin no. P225

This cabin is forward on P deck.
We booked this cabin on a getaway fare and got exactly what we paid for, we were more than pleased with it, there was plenty of storage space and the bathroom was adequate. The twin beds could not be made into a double but that wasn't a problem.
A kettle in the cabin was a real bonus to us as we are big tea drinkers and like a drink as soon as we wake up, we hate waiting for room service to deliver a luke warm cup of tea. Tea bags, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits were replenished daily.
We were really close to the theatre, restaurants, casino, shops and some of the bars. It was great getting back onto the ship after a long day on shore to only have to climb one flight of stairs to get back to the cabin.
The only problem we had was sailing through a force 10 one night and the pounding from the waves sounded and felt like we were being hit by a cannon.
It was impossible to sleep, everytime a wave hit the walls shook, my hubby gave up and went a wander round only to find people trying to sleep in the atrium.
Luckily it was only for one night or I would have been taking my duvet and pillow to try and find a nice sofa somewhere.
Don't worry be happy.

We did 15 nights in P203 18 months ago and did not experience any problem. Having said that we had smooth seas all the time. What I liked about the cabin was the layout. The way that the toilet and hanging space were done in a way that they seemed more seperate from the rest of the cabin compared with a conventional layout.

We had an inside on P deck for the 18 nights to was close to the Costa coffee shop ( I wish they'd change their name!!), so sometimes we didn't bother with breakfast if we wanted to be first off- just had coffee and the free Danish pastry. G would have the muesli and fruit, which we didn't realise came free with coffee, like the cake. More times than not, the gangway was on that deck when we returned, so straight to the cabin with our bags. We'd certainly travel on P again.
