Ryndam disabled cabin

Ryndam disabled cabin

Postby Dave » 13 Jul 2013 14:44

We've just returned from a ship visit to Ryndam courtesy of Cruise Select. Before posting a report I read bobbyoscar's previous account of her visit and noticed a query about Ryndam's disabled cabins - as in she and her OH didn't get to see one. We did see one (I don't know how many there are) so I hope this might be of interest.

This was an 'oceanview' cabin and the first thing we noticed was the very wide doorway and 'passage':

The bathroom was very large and well-equipped:

The view back from the bathroom door. I've seen much better TVs on ships!

The window looked rather scruffy:

I hope this will be of some help for anyone requiring a disabled cabin on Ryndam.

Thanks, Dave. Can you remember if the bathroom was a wetroom?

I'm not really familiar with the term but, yes, I'm pretty sure it was. It was quite huge and very well equipped - and it looked thoroughly waterproof!

Although spacious the space between the bed and the desk was tiny around 2ft and yes it was a wet room

Thanks for that, Peka. Our other concern was that there was no ramp into the Dining Room - which ever level you were on. This meant having to try and get down a smallish flight of stairs which for someone with very limited balance is v difficult and took Andy about 5 mins to accomplish.
