Saga 2018

Happy new Year everyone - sorry I have been so quiet just lately....a busy bee !!

It was a privilege to spend Christmas and New Year on Saga Pearl II. Had a brilliant time in spite of very rough seas. As a result we missed Ajaccio and Civitavecchia but had 2 days in Palma de Mallorca instead. I had already delivered my Ajaccio talk when the change was announced....and I had less than an hour's notice to give a new talk on Mallorca.

The new cruise director Simon Heath is lovely and he was a pleasure to work with. As the cruise went on, it was clear to see he was finding his feet and doing things his way. Andy Galler joined on Boxing Day from Sapphire as ACD.

Delighted to have 2 bookings on Saga in 2018 - would have liked more but Fred Olsen booked me first this year.

I am on The Musical Mediterranean on Sapphire in July, and Moorish Mediterranean on Pearl in November.

Glad to hear all went well for your cruise despite the bad weather!

You are doing it again - boarding Pearl in November as we get off!! Shall keep my fingers crossed for 2019.
