Viking Sun and Saga Sapphire in Dover

Viking Sun and Saga Sapphire in Dover

As part of my walk today, I went along the harbour wall by Dover Cruise Terminal to see Viking Sun.

We've done three river cruises with Viking, but I hadn't seen any of their ocean cruise ships before. Viking Sun looked very nice - if very typical of a newish, balcony-clad vessel. One thing that did stand out for me though was the infinity pool on an upper deck:

As it turned out, Saga Sapphire was also in port. Whilst not perhaps in the same class as Viking Sun, it's always impressive to see the enormous fleet of Titan Saga VIP taxis delivering the passengers! ;) :

The full walk report (with more ship shots and Pete's old school) is HERE. :D

Excellent photos Dave. I think that it would be difficult to find two small/medium cruise ships that are more different.
