Braemar to Caribbean in December 2017

Postby Gillzajoker » 15 Nov 2017 12:29

I have visited all the ports of call on your forthcoming cruise, many more than once, but my favourite is Tortola. I also do excursions independently - all the taxk/minibus drivers at each port know exactly what the ship's excursions are, and offer the same and more at a fraction of the price. As a general rule of thumb, I expect to pay $25 for anythng from 3 t 6 hours. I have done may solo cruises and find that at the ports you'll find groupls of people negotiating prices, and they are usually happy for anther person to join them, a) to bring the price down and b) to fill the minibus and thus set off early.
I would also recommend joining Cruise Critic Roll Calls - if you are not aware of this, send me a message and I'll elaborate - but via this service, you can find yourself 'making friends' before you even join the ship.
