I like Gibraltar but it's usually just a half day there with P&O so there are always queues to get off and on! :o

For me Monte Carlo was one of the highlights of my cruise. Would love to return. Here's a piccie. My yacht's the one on the far right!

Sue, We have been to Monte Carlo twice on a cruise, last year on the Oceana we just walked off the shop and caught a Ho Ho bus, then went to the Cafe Paris for a few drinks while the men went into the fab Casino. We just love Monte Carlo too :)

Gibralter was a full day for us on the TUI Doscovery this year, this was one of my favourite places on the cruise.

I would love to go to Guernsey on a cruise, we have been to Jersey twice on land based holidays and really enjoyed both breaks.

My belated thanks for a really interesting and extremely well-written review. It's quite a novelty to get a review from someone who wasn't very keen to do a cruise, but who did one and thoroughly enjoyed it! :D

Thank you. After the cruise had been booked I was excited. It was booked March last year, so had 16 months to wait. April 2015 I had started buying the things for my in-laws' cruise hamper Christmas present and just added things as I went along (I was excited and trying to be practical by spreading the cost and getting summer things whilst they were in the shops, but also I love crafting and work in a craft store so it was a project to get my teeth in to!) I had started getting formal wear towards the end of the year and this excited me. It was probably around May this year that I started to get nervous as well. I still don't think I would have booked a cruise just yet if it hadn't been booked for me but I enjoyed it and would recommend it and do another.
