Welcome back Hazel.

Sorry to hear about the cough. Try some honey and squeeze of lemon with some hot water in a shot glass - gargle or throw it done like a 'shot'. I'm not fond of honey but I can throw it back like a 'shot' no bother. ;)

Sorry about the cough, Hazel...as Marie says, honey and lemon... The NHS site talked about honey coating the throat, which Gavin found was a help with his winter cough.

Did you manage to call in Fernando de Noronha as Fred. indicated that this was a maiden call?

Fernando de Noronha was dropped before we sailed. The island only allows 350 visitors a day - Balmoral had been given permission to exceed this by one party but then someone else over-ruled it on environmental grounds.

Instead we went to Maceio and Salvador

Will be interesting to see what happens next year when Boudicca has a scheduled stop there
