Touring Havana in a Classic Car

Postby Dave » 11 Jan 2018 14:30

The photos I used in my review were all taken on my phone. My wife also took photos with her phone during the tour and I've made a video slideshow from them. :geek:

It starts with several photos of me posing in the car while we waited for our guide, then covers our visit to Ernest Hemingway's house. Next are some photos taken in the area around Morro Castle, before finishing with photos she took from the car while we toured the city centre and Revolution Square.

Just fabulous Dave and not what I expected Havana to be like at all!
I think your tour must rank as the best day out EVER!

Think we must have been there at the same time but ours was 3weeks in hotel on the coast. Went December 28 came back January 19.
Cuba is a fascinating place, and the cars are out of this world , though hubby was disappointed because very few had the original engine!!! One guy very proudly lifted the bonnet showed us the engine he had transplanted into his car,
The people are so friendly and happy.
Unfortunately the weather wasn't very good, some that had only gone for a week or two were disappointed to not go home with a tan. The locals were saying it is their winter but even so it's not usually as bad .

I was reading some of your review whilst there but wifi not good at the hotel. So it was nice to be reading about it and actually being there .
