Took a ferris wheel ride when last in Koln.
We got the very last ride of the evening- just a well - 30 secs later we would not have been allowed on! Think of the war we would have had with 3 kids all wanting a spin if we did miss it!

Adding the Ferris Wheel at the Vieux Port in Marseilles, France.

Pics to follow.

We took the Ferris Wheel ride in Gdansk Christmas 2017. Super views marred slightly by the amount of construction work. If you haven't been this is a city well worth seeing. As always we were "doing our own thing".

Have you ever taken a Ferris Wheel Ride while on a cruise excursion?

Postby judgegeoff » 22 Nov 2018 00:09

In 2010 Chris and I did three back to back cruises ending with an anticlockwise cruise from Sydney to Perth, Australia, aboard the Royal Caribbean ship "Rhapsody of the Seas". On disembarkation we spent a further few days in Perth and nearby Freemantle. In Perth there was a huge Ferris Wheel on the banks of the Swan River and we went on it and enjoyed the views over the river and town that it gave us.
