Bow Ties

Postby divingbrit » 06 Jan 2018 18:40

12 days to our cruise, time to get out the suitcases, (not pack) and just check if I need to buy anything, seems all I need to do is to replace the toothbrush head, thank you ebay, should be here by Thursday. So what else is on the check list, money, tick, medicines, tick, haircut, tick, so that just leaves, relearn to tie a bowtie!
Have not worn a 'proper bowtie since my last cruise, 30 odd years ago, and yes have forgotten, but nowadays, not like in 1987, there is youtube, dozens of clips showing you the correct way, and in less than 30mins, I have a tie that looks good, but not too good, don't want people to think its a clip on do we!

Mr P won't wear a pre-tied job so has a 'real' bowtie. Carefully tied following the instructions.....and it stays like that. Just needs me to fiddle with the clips to fix it under the collar when it's to be worn.
