Booked for 2018 - MS Asara - Dutch Waterways

We have taken the plunge for Easter 2018 by booking a cruise on Phoenix Reisen MS Asara sailing from Cologne and visiting Amsterdam, Hoorn, Rotterdam, Arnheim etc.

MS Asara is a 5* ship, though it is not All Inclusive like MS Sofia.

We have a two cabins.

While weather in Europe in April may be iffy, you have to travel in April if you wish to see Keukenhof Gardens and the Dutch Bulbfields - something I want to do for a while.

Once again booking was a breeze with Riverscanner.com

Looking at Fred's river cruise prices for a similar cruise, we got an absolute steal! Then again it is low style cruising, in low season!!

Despite it being a budget cruise, I think the ship is stunning!!

Wow Tom it looks amazing... Hubby fancies a river cruise... I've never been sure as I like big ships.

I did say she was a 5* ship Dave. I no doubt I will be corrected elsewhere that it is a 4,5* ship - either way I think its a smashing ship on a great customer focussed cruiseline - only thing needed is good weather in Europe in April!

Am looking forward to the Dutch Bulbfields!

As a budget cruiser that can only afford to cruise in the low season, I can't really expect much more, it is Northern Europe after all!

What the nutter didn't allude to is that many river cruises in the high season become bus tours as the rivers dry up!

Obviously you win some and you lose some but he does have to have one up man ship! Silly twat!
