Don''t worry Jim - that was my longest to date as well...until today!!
Now can say 27 nights on the wonderful Boudicca.

Can I question your statement that we met on the 21 might cruise to Adriatic...I think that was May 2012....and so we had met the year before on the Greenland cruise.

It's about time our paths crossed again!

To date our 12 night Opera cruise has been our longest and to be honest I don't think I could cope with much longer than that.

Is that because of keeping the children amused or because you need to be out and about most of the time?

Both Jill! The odd thing about this cruise is that it was 12 nights with 7 ports in addition to the embarkation and disembarkation points. In that we also had 6.5 sea days considering it was 6pm when we arrived in Gibraltar and Palma de Mallorca. It is easier to manage the kids when you are busy so more port days would be more welcome that said I am not sure if I could do a 14 day port intensive cruise with kids.

That said I did think my hour in the jacuzzi away from everyone on each sea day to be absolute heaven!

I bet it was. So did Mrs TV get an hour in the Jacuzzi too at some stage? ;)

She would not get into it to save her life. We used to put the kids in the baby and mini club for a hour each day so we could have an hour to do what we want either individually or together.

I'm afraid 14 nights is my longest and that's enough for me on any type of holiday. About ten days suits me fine. That 14 day one was to the Baltic and I suppose you couldn't do it justice in under two weeks. We only had one sea day as it was very port intensive. Fantastic though.

We've had 42 nights on QM2 but are pretty disillusioned with Cunard now. We're at their top loyalty level so there's no more benefits to work towards, and if we book last minute they charge for the shuttle to the port, which seems a bit nickle and dime in view of the kids' inheritance we've paid over the years!
