to add.... erm in 2015
Cruise and Maritime (they got promoted from other suddenly when Discovery moved over)

But of course to confuse us the brand name Voyages of Discovery is still there but the ship they have now is called Voyager. I don't think C & M own Discovery, they have formed some sort of 'agreement' with All leisure, the Holding Company.

Ours are Saga, Fred, HAL, and others .

The others include Discovery , Page and Moy (now also swallowed by All Leisure ) Swan Hellenic in their original form and one or two others now defunct. Just remembered an early cruise with Carnival not ticked off.

Cheers Kath

Don't get me started.... I'm liable to start throwing things right now over the changes and the past year

My friend that we went on Discovery with last year, had been catching up with the couple that sat on the next table to us. They have been on Discovery since and said the standard had very much dropped, the food was terrible and the supposed refurb  nothing, well I knew that from the pictures I had seen, that hardly anything had been done apart from the restaurant had been lightened up, a few carpet changes (but that is routine anyway!)

What's more the number of people who have lost their jobs  and been replaced, by untrained uselessness

My list.....
Azamara.
Celebrity.
Cruise and Maritime.
Costa.
Cunard.
Fred Olsen.
HAL.
P&O.
Royal Caribbean.
Thomson.
Other....Airtours and Royal Star(Out of Mombasa to Zanzibar).
I don't suppose that I can include Louis Cruiselines who actually bought an Airtours ship in mid Atlantic when we were on board, but had sold it before we disembarked. Am I in a rut ???? ;)

Since we started cruising Nov. 2005 we have sailed:

RCI x 12 (another booked on Oasis next year)
Celebrity x 2 (another on Relection coming up soon)
P &O x1 (never again)
Cunard x1 (another in January on QE)

Like Jill we are more interested in the itinerary now, hence the cruise on QE, but we do enjoy the benefits on RCI. And Celebrity and we also enjoy T/A's and have done 5 so far with one coming up next year.

Looking at the cruise lines members have been on I noticed nobody appears to have sailed with the Disney Cruise Line? Disney Fantasia looked like good fun when we were docked along side her in San Juan.ImageImageImage

Done Saga, Fred Olsen and others. Initially voted CMV but then changed it to others as Marco Polo at time we sailed on her, was under the ownership of Trans Ocean Tours. Have also done A Russian cruise line (which again I think was Marco under a different name) and then also Festival Cruise Lines (now defunct).
CRUISES BOOKED:
Spirit of Discovery - Dec 2020, Dec 2021
Spirit of Adventure - September 2020, March 2021, June 2021, October 2021

Hoping to add RCI this year (must experience Indy before she leaves for good), and looking at Louis Cruise Greek experience in Sept....very unusual little islands, Greek food and different excursions, folk music etc. Sounds just our scene.
